Business consulting may be integrated into coaching engagements when practical business expertise can help move a leader or organization forward. Drawing on extensive business, financial, and leadership experience, I provide strategic support that connects leadership development with real-world business needs.
Support may include strengthening internal reporting to provide better information for decision-making, clarifying business priorities, reviewing processes and performance, and providing customized training or development for leaders and teams.
Rather than operating as a traditional standalone consulting service, this work is tailored to the needs of the client and incorporated where it adds value. It bridges coaching, business insight, and practical application to support stronger decisions and sustainable results.

Consulting Experience
My approach to business consulting is grounded in decades of experience across business, accounting, finance, consulting and education.
Earlier in my career with a public accounting firm, much of my work took me directly into client organizations. Often, I had little advance knowledge of the challenges I would encounter. I learned to quickly understand their business, work with unfamiliar systems, identify what was needed and develop practical solutions while building strong, supportive relationships.
My experience included helping organizations restore financial processes after staffing disruptions, supporting the hiring and training of new accounting personnel, transitioning organizations from manual to computerized accounting systems, training employees and supporting financial staff through organizational change.
I worked with leaders, management and boards, answering financial questions and providing recommendations to strengthen processes, internal controls, audit trails and operational efficiency.
Working across various accounting systems and organizational environments strengthened my ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with a diverse range of teams and organizational environments.
This continues to influence how I consult today. Listen first. Ask questions. Understand both the business and the people involved. Work collaboratively to identify practical solutions that can be sustained long after my involvement ends.
While bookkeeping, tax preparation, audit, and review services are not offered, customized training and workshops may be integrated into Coaching & Consulting packages based on client needs.
