Professional Background
BUSINESS BACKGROUND
After earning my Diploma in Business Accounting, I spent over a decade in the business world, advancing my expertise while completing the demanding path to becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant. My experience evolved into management and leadership roles: Financial Administrator and Acting Executive Director at Inuusiqsiurvik, Baffin Regional Treatment Center; Financial Controller at Hawboldt Newfoundland Limited; Business Consultant, Audit and Review team member and Certified Simply Accounting Software Consultant for Mackay Landau Chartered Accountants; General Manager of Nasaijit Services Limited.
My career evolved into business education when I accepted a full-time position as a post-secondary Business Instructor. Since then, I have been an instructor in the Business Accounting and the University Transfer programs at the College of the North Atlantic. I deliver instruction both on campus and online, and it’s been deeply rewarding to support students from the beginning of their studies through to the successful completion of their diploma.
I shared my expertise by delivering business consulting and support to local enterprises through training and development initiatives offered by CNA’s Business and Industry Solutions, Customized and Continuous Learning.
I am a facilitator for the Chartered Professional Accountants program of professional studies. Delivering modules in their professional education program (PEP) provides a fulfilling opportunity to provide coaching and guidance to future CPAs.
I founded LeShane Seaside Vitality, offering Reiki, Reiki training, personal coaching, yoga, women’s circles, meditation and sound alchemy. I also created the empowering coaching experiences, Awaken Your Authentic Self and Sacred Feminine Rising. With a background as a Chartered Professional Accountant, business consultant, and instructor, expanding into business coaching and consulting was a natural evolution to meet my clients’ changing needs. This inspired the rebrand to LeShane Synergy.
